Mettowee River Fishing Report June 13, 2025

Fishing report by Maxx Juckett

The dry weather this week has helped the river finally get back to a normal level. The Mettowee River is running very clear and flows are great. The water temperature is 65°, which is getting warm but still fishable. The gauge in Middle Granville has a height of 4.2 feet with a flow of 320 cfs.

The fishing continues to be great with a few more brown trout to hand this week as compared to last. The rainbow trout continue to be plentiful. Try fishing the holes at the Little League Park, or either of the access points in Middle Granville. Don’t pass up what’s upstream or downstream of the main holes, as fish can hold anywhere.

Some insect life about were small mayflies (size 16-20), olive caddis (size 14-16) and midges (size 16-24).
