Welcome Santa Claus to town during Granville’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Hosted in early December each year, this beloved tradition is a festive way to welcome the holiday season. The event kicks off with a parade featuring guests of honor Santa and Mrs. Claus. Kids will have a chance to visit with Santa in Veteran’s Park, which sparkles with holiday decorations and lighting. Area organizations offer free refreshments and gifts, and the event is capped off with the ceremonial Christmas tree lighting in the park. Granville Lighted Tractor Parade
Each year, area farms and businesses bedeck tractors, trucks, and other large equipment in holiday lights for an event that is fun for the whole family. Festival of Wreaths & Trees
Each year, the Slate Valley Museum and The Pember Museum host the Festival of Trees and Festival of Wreaths, respectively. Businesses, families, and individuals are encouraged to submit a decorated tree and/or wreath, and the public is welcome to submit bids for wreaths at The Pember and trees at Slate Valley Museum for a chance to win. The silent auction benefits the two organizations, and these events are fun to both participate in and to bid on. Lights and Music in Veteran’s Park
