Memorial Tree Lighting

Decorated tractors, firetrucks, ATV's and more will take over the village of Granville, New York to ring in the holiday season on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

This event is for spreading some holiday cheer to one or 2 of our local nursing homes, You can either donate gifts , or you can join us on the day we will be giving the gifts and help spread some holiday cheer.
Vinyasa Yoga Class
All skill levels are welcome at this Vinyasa Yoga Class with instructor Mary Bucciero. Vinyasa is a yoga style that focuses on breathing and moving in and out of poses smoothly. Classes will focus on foundational movement and progress into more advanced poses.

Young Explorers
Join us for our youth study group focusing on the plants and animals of the Pember Nature Preserve. Participants, 1st grade and up will enjoy hands-on learning, playing educational games and creating nature-inspired art. Registration is required by the end of day on the Tuesday prior to each class. Paint & Pass Party - Ages 6-11
Join us for a fun, collaborative painting experience! Everyone begins their own canvas, then every few minutes you’ll pass it along for someone else to add their creative touch. By the end, you’ll go home with a one-of-a-kind community-made masterpiece.

Public Walking Program at Granville Jr/Sr High School
Stay warm and dry while getting your steps in this winter by walking the halls of the Granville Jr/Sr High. School families, Granville CSD community members and staff are welcome!
Dates: Dec 1, 2025 - Apr 1, 2026
When: Mon - Fri, when school is in session
Hours: 4pm - 9pm
Additional Details:
The walking program is open to Granville CSD district residents.
Participants may register and sign in outside the Main Office left at a sign in table.
Walking is available when school is in session and will not be open on school holidays and vacations.
During inclement weather, we request that walkers bring a change of shoes to walk indoors.

2025 Lights of Wells - Holiday Tree Lighting
Please join the Town of Wells on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm for our annual Lights of Wells event at the Wells Town Green. Help Santa to light the tree on the town green at 5pm, sing carols with us, drink hot cocoa, eat cookies in the Wells Village Library, visit St. Paul’s Church for bluegrass music and sandwiches, and enjoy quiet reflection on the season and learn the history of the candy cane at the Methodist Church and take an enchanting holiday ride on a horse-drawn wagon through town.
Please bake and bring some goodies to share. We have a few fire pits that volunteers are bringing for the evening. If you have some firewood that you can donate for this event, please reach out. For updates, visit this Facebook page.

Granville's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
Come to Granville’s annual tree lighting to help us ring in the holiday season. There are plenty of activities for attendees of all ages, from the lighted parade down Main Street to the FREE treats in Veteran’s Park. This year’s theme is “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
Be sure to visit the ticket booth in the park to get your FREE pass to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.
